Get a three core or quad core. Get at least 4GB RAM at at least 800MHz Get at least a 500 watts PSU, bare minimum Get at least 500 gb space Get a good mobo

if you have to invest moolah then go out for intel or amd 720 or 810

if you oc your cpu + 4830 then u should be okay with crysis at 1024x768 Medium-High.

If you have $850 to spare, either go i7 or wait and go i7. That is the way to go.

I have enough experience with slow CPUs with fast GPUs and you will be terribly bottlenecked. Going for a better CPU may be a better decision. Going for a cheap rebuild with E5200 won't cost much and is recommended. If you have to go for GPU bound titles, then don't waste anything over a 4830...

6 months down the line get i7 + 6gb + 5870x2 or 4850x2 CF

I am looking for a good wireless keyboard and mouse in 2-3k. I do a lot of gaming so the mouse must be at least as good as a MX 518. I am willing to purchase locally or get it through KMD(local dealer who imports).

get a 4850X2 sub $250, best bang for buck. CF >>> GTX 295

Too expensive, a 4850X2 @ 250$ is cheaper and performs better.
