That is right, aussieburger. I did same thing. I put 80mm vol-modded fan on top, though i have to fix it on somehow.

i had same problem with e4300 and radeon x1550. when o/c'ed even slightly (225x9), it did not post. i had to wait for a while. i tried anything and only thing helped was cooling off the north bridge. now it is running @ 333x8 stable.
