4k movies uses a lot of CPU

MPC-HC and Potplayer, I think. They almost doesn't use any CPU now anymore. I don't know how you can check that. Can you see it somewhere?

4k movies uses a lot of CPU

8k is rip my pc. Does some1 know why suddenly potplayer can handle 4k content without me doing a thing. Checked if there was windows updates, but there weren't. No driver update for my GPU. And why potplayers 4k content the subs are out of sync, it wasn't before.

4k movies uses a lot of CPU

Somehow potplayer is working fine again with 4k content, didn't change a thing. Only problem is now that subtitles are out of sync. But I can manually sync it with potplayer. VLC isn't fixxed. Where can I find renderer settings?

4k movies uses a lot of CPU

Tested with MPC-HC and the 4k mp4 file uses 20% and the other 4k mkv file uses max 5% CPU. Seems MPC-HC works really fine, but why are the others so much worse?

4k movies uses a lot of CPU

I didn't download any codecs from a site. I have run BD TS 18 and Malwarebytes, no virusses detected. Before the reinstalling of windows 10, 4k files where no problem to play, max 8% CPU. All the other mediaplayers are running just fine, exept the VLC nightly build. Some1 suggested to look on...

4k movies uses a lot of CPU

The newest drivers possible for my GPU, just now I had a new update, version 385.28, for my 1070. How can i make the mediaplayers use GPU? I have tried whitelisting them in Nvidia's control panel, but that backfired, potplayer went to 100% CPU and vlc also the same. And there's something weird...
