Thats what i was guessing, i've been told there is a problem with the kk266 running at 133 fsb if the cpu default is to run at something different. I would assume thats why i cant change from 100 to 133. It just wont POST if i do. Thanks.

What is the maximum anyone has reached in oc'ing, i for some reason cannot get past 970

As far as I know the hardware should go together just fine, the volcano 2 would not be my first choice ( or my last, lol ) but its more than enough if you're not going to O'clock with it. As far as the DDR ram, have you looked at Muskin, they sell it decent, $169 for 128 I think.

I have a friend with a PCChips Mobo, he has to go into cpu pnp and change it from auto to user define to get it to let him change the settings. Don't know if that helps.

I've got a Duron 800, 256 of pc133 Corsair, IWILL KK266 Mobo, Stuck a fan on my northbridge chip, added an exhaust to my case just for the heck of it ( although I must say it wasn't a waste ), All in all, I can't get it to OC above 970. I've got the voltage at 1.85, bus speed at 100, multiplier...

A friend and I got in an argument today about this mobo using DDR ram, I said it wouldn't take it, he says it will. As far as I know it only takes up to pc133, or any of the pc150 that's out. Anyone know the absolute truth.

set the multiplier to 5.0 restart w\133 fsb. would'nt boot??

I have an iwill kk266 mobo and every time I try to change the fsb to 133 it won't boot. I've got a Duron 800 cpu and (2) 128 sticks of corsair pc133. When it powers on, I can here it trying to boot, but when it gets to the little click to init the monitor it stops. Anybody got any ideas???????:|
