    Thanks, i already know this page. But reading some other threads, someone said he tried with another fx and it worked somehow, but didn't say something about long term effects and the specific fx-chips i mentioned above...

    Can anyone verify that a AMD FX-8370, AMD FX-8310 or something similar works permanently on an MSI 870a-g54 (non FX-version, white Socket AM3)? Thank you!
