I've seen pics of the Noctua NH-D14, the Thermalright Archon and The Xigmatek Prime fitting on the P8z77-I. I ordered a Thermalright Silver Arrow to put on this board, which should fit.

    remote for HTPC

I just bought it because I liked the look of it compared to the others. It does what I need it to. I only needed it to launch and navigate XBMC. It also comes with a USB IR receiver and it's only $25. As far as I can tell most MCE remotes are the same (have the exact same buttons etc.) The...

    remote for HTPC

I don't think it can be programmed to control your TV. Using Eventghost you can probably set up the remote to do this. I honestly didn't do much in Eventghost. On the XBMC forum there is a member who already did all the Eventghost stuff and I am using his XML file.

I'm using this remote with XBMC and Eventghost and it works great.

I plugged my EVGA 9600 GT into my SL lifehacker hack and it seemed to work fine. I didn't test it extensively though.

Looks like Apple is recommending the Targus ACB10US BT adapter now. Apparently some adapters have issues waking the computer from sleep. Anyone using a cheaper BT adapter on 10.6 and having no issues waking from sleep with a BT device? http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3940

Looks like I need to add bluetooth to the SL hack I built my cousin (she wants to use a Mighty Mouse). Anyone recommend a bluetooth adapter that she would be able to use the Mighty Mouse with?

Hackintosh 10.5.5 Retail Rig - Starting at $305

Hmmm I didn't try hooking up two monitors just the one. I connected one monitor with VGA or DVI and then switched between them. I'll take it to work tomorrow and try and two monitors. Edit: I tried putting a 9600 GT in and both of the DVI ports work fine on it. I guess it's just an issue...

Thanks for the response Mosslack. I don't have another monitor here at the house so I tried hooking it up to my plasma with a DVD-HDMI adapter and got the same results. Black screen with no desktop. The plasma was getting a signal because it flashed "1080i", but there was nothing on the screen.

Finally got everything the way I want it on this UD3P hack at work and when I bring it home I have an issue. I can't get the desktop to load when using the DVI connector. The screen goes black right after the apple loading screen. The monitor still thinks it is getting a signal because it...

Thanks for the file location. I just replaced the boot.png with a boot.png that I made. It didn't end up using the boot.png that I put in there (just a grey Apple logo), but it did switch to a different Apple logo, which is what I wanted.
