Not a gaming build today. Im contemplating the upgrade if its actually worth it or not. My son plays ESports at college, and he has the 10700 that he has been running. Trying to see if providing him a better CPU/Mobo/Mem would be worth it in games or if its negligible. Esp with the 4070. Thanks all.

Good afternoon all. Looking to see if anyone has any input on this proc, with a z490 mobo and its ability vs something like a Ryzen 7600x? This specifically will be used for gaming. Will I see better performance or will it be negligible? Already on a Nvidia RTX 4070. TIA.
