Need advice in regards to my next upgrade

If I go with #1, with the money I have (or will have) the closest I will be upgrading is the video card. I tend to upgrade in steps due to the impatience of being able to save enough money to get it all in one big shot. See, in general, my upgrade fund is my change cup.

Need advice in regards to my next upgrade

Yes, this I know. The reason I initially pick the X600 is $$. Upon picking the motherboard and processor it will be quicker for me to get $100 compared to getting $200 for a video card. This is all pretty much a draft and nothing is set into stone. I want to keep the 9800 Pro so I can...

What do you think of Raidmax cases for a gaming case?

If anything, the power supply would be put on an old system that wasn't really cared too much about. To use this case on my future MSI Neo2 Platinum, I would be using a Fortron PS (new purchase) or the Antec True Power 420 Watt that I already have.

I will probably be buying a MSI Neo2 Platinum soon. Figure it would work out better if I had a new case too. What do you think of this one

Possible... but I ain't too sure about a company that tries helping spread the Norton plague. ;)

    Athlon 64 motherboard advice needed

That is always the plan. That is what I did when I bought this DFI LAN Party board. It has been running solid for a while. I originally wanted to get it because it would look cool in a windowed case but I found out many many people were liking it before I drop the money for it. Have not...

    Athlon 64 motherboard advice needed

At first I was probably going to stick with onboard sound for a while. That way to give the opportunity to get more parts.

    Athlon 64 motherboard advice needed

I got about $300 to play with. If I get a PCI-e card, I am going to want to use it right away and with the remainder of what I have, that won't be happening. To me it seems best to stick with the 9800 Pro.

So I take it it is working pretty good for you? How is the sound on it? It seems like I am seeing about 50/50 hit or miss when I do searches regarding this board.

    Athlon 64 motherboard advice needed

I recently came across a decent amount of money and it went straight to the computer upgrade fund and it seemed like a good time to make the leap to 64 bit. What motherboard would anyone suggest? Requirements 1) I want to stick with AGP since I got a Radeon 9800 Pro not too long ago and I...

    Video card suggestions needed

Ok, I have bought Nvidia since back to the TNT. But lately, I have been considering getting an ATI. Problem is I am not too familiar with any of the cards. I have a working range of $150. BUT.... if another $25 to $50 would make the differance between night and day, I can wait. I have been...
