hmmm thats odd, the file isnt at that location at all, it doesnt appear to be anywhere. Virus software already deleted the file but not the registry command to activate it on startup?

Sure I'll just delete it and run my virus stuff. Really glad it didnt work. Surprised that antivir didnt catch it, or maybe it did and thats why it didnt do anything cept make a registry entry?

So whats this one mean? An error with C:\Windows\system32\byXRIJcB.dll It only shows up when I first startup the computer. Everything seems to be working fine. A Google search turns up with no matches. P.S. 64 bit vista

Alright heres the situation. I have a home network set up that includes one desktop pc a wireless router and 3 wireless laptops. I would like to be able to print files from the laptops on the printer. The printer is connected to the desktop and is an older printer, its an HP Deskjet 3845...

Never had to use one on my last computer. It just automatically opened anything when I clicked on it but I just built this one and Vista doesnt come with a program to open these.

Can you guys recommend a good free program for opening .rar and .zip files and well any compressed files? It has to work with vista. Thanks

Pretty self explanatory, recently built a new system, got a version of vista havent even opened it yet. Had a guy at the computer shop, employee there seems pretty knowledgable tell me whatever I do dont upgrade to vista for gaming. Is he right or crazy? Should I send my version of vista back...

It wont even get that far. I just put the hard drive back in my old system, will copy essential files to dvd and do a clean install of windows xp once I get the hard drive into the new computer. Was trying to avoid that time sink but, ya gotta do what you gotta do.

If it does I am not fast enough to click the button at the correct time. The blue screen is up for (im guessing here but) less than a tenth of a second. There isnt a way to shut off the auto-restart? I thought there was but I dont remember how to do it.

So I got an almost new computer. Everything is new except for the hard drive. It already has windows xp installed on it. I put the whole thing together turned it on and it tries to start, I get the motherboard screen then the pci device listing screen, then the windows did not start...

Okay it wont even start in safe mode. I get the same thing a, a blue screen then it restarts and tries again, is there a way I can get it to stop at the blue screen so I can read the blue screen?

Thank you gentleman that was exactly correct. Now I can use my keyboard in the dos settings. I select start windows normally hit enter, however I am still getting the blue screen. However it flashes by so fast I cant read it. Any way I can slow it down?
