Yeah that's a bit confusing, I'm guessing the 6800GT would only use 12 pipes than. Like the memory would default to the lower card. Note: NVIDIA recommends that SLI customers, whenever possible, purchase graphics cards with matching memory sizes. When dissimilar memory sizes are enabled...

With nVidias new release 80 drivers will a 6800gt pcie work with a 6800gs pcie in sli mode? Or do I need another GT? Thanks.

Hey guys, what bios version is best for this board? I've tried some of the final and beta ones a while back, but 1007 seems to work the best ATM. Haven't had too much time to fiddle with the newer ones though. Any suggestions? Thanks. :) Oh and phew, what a looooong thread. :)

Got 13005 on 3dmark03 and 5309 on 3dmark05. That's with the bios AI overclock at 5% and the vid card set with the optimal OC option. Was surprised to see some of the cpu tests at 2 to 4 FPS on the 05 version. :(

Oh good idea about the 3dmark03. I managed to find what others are saying is the most stable bios version at the moment. 1007 Final. I found two 1007 with different dates, so I'm using the one with the latest date. Learning lots. :)
