I currently own a DVD+R DL burner and I went out and purchased some dual layer Verbatim media. Upon inspection of the media I found two labels, a RW label on the box, and a DVD+R DL label. This confused me a bit and I have the following questions which I hope someone can help me answer...

The problem with the display is this: I have a Dell Inspiron 8000 and I took it apart to clean. When I put it back together, everything seemed to be working with the exception of the display. The video card outputs, but it only uses a fraction of the display when it shows the computer startup...

Even if the configuation is two banks of two for the dual-channel DDR, can I just put one stick in? Or am I forced into using two sticks at a time?

Does that mean... if I have a Dell 8300 (P4 3.0Ghz HT) which has/supports dual channel DDR, I *have to* use two DDR sticks? Or can I use one stick with lower performance? Thanks.

Can someone please explain to me what the benefits of Dual Channel DDR are? What exactly it is, and whether it's better than DDR that isn't??? Or does this just mean two DDR sticks as opposed to one? Thanks!
