yeah, good point, sorry about that. I would kind of like to use both simultaniously for games (but one 17" LCD would be enough), but its main purpose will be extra viewing area for programming (stata, gauss, excell spreadsheets etc...)

would a 8800GTS with 320MB RAM support two monitors? Namely a 17" and 17" at 1280x1024 or 17" and 19" with the 19" at 1440x900. if not would upgrading to the 8800GTS with 640MB do the trick? thanks for any help
