If you figure the TDP of the 2 main items:
AMD A8-5600k = max 100W TDP
HD6670 = max 66W TDP
Plus more for mobo, memory, hard drive(s), etc, 300W is not bad under load. Now if that id idle then yes something is definitely out of wack. Personally I have had nothing but problems with Sapphire...
The main thing to watch is the UPS ratings compared to whats being drawn from them during the power outage. The small batteries should be fine for routers and modems, but for computers or gaming systems, it would be best to make sure it is rated for 500W (600VA or more), which should work fine...
