    Best Browser: Crash and Recovery

I certainly do report crashes when they happen. I didn't realize Firefox was really supposed to be uber-stable. Probably conflicting with an open app. I have noticed a flaw with "Session Saver" in FireFox. I thought it would be safe to disable the "are you sure you want to close the window...

    Best Browser: Crash and Recovery

Hmm... I was going to add an opinion to "Session Saver" on Mozilla Update, but I don't see an option to rate it in anyway... how do you do rate things there? This is where it is: (or you can go Tool>Extensions>Get More>"Search for session saver")...

    Best Browser: Crash and Recovery

Thank you Bersl!!! Never thought there was an extension for saving your sessions. I found an unrated extension called "session saver". Forced FireFox to end task and it remembered my sessions! Can't wait to see how it works in a "real" crash situation. Now FireFox is still my number 1. :op

    Best Browser: Crash and Recovery

I guess because I make HEAVY use of tabbed browsing by having more than a dozen news sources open at one time (my.yahoo) and opening 30 tabs in a minute that I experience a lot of crashing. While such heavy tabbing is not the norm, it's very convenient till one of those tabbed openings crashes...

    Best Browser: Crash and Recovery

I was wondering what other browsers or modifications are out there that helps to alleviate the stress of a browser crash. While I absolutely love Firefox vs plain Jane IE I am finding Firefox a little too crash prone and it is incredibly frusrating when you open your 8th news tab and it...

Headphones for computer/portable usage. Sony MDR-V6 vs. Sennheiser HD-497

Koss Portapro headphones are nice and the KSC-35s look good. I'm expecting the Koss KSC-35s really soon. They're more portable/convenient (clip on ear style) with same driver as the portapro. Here's a link to Headphone.com's review on the KSC-35 KSC opinion . If you scroll to the bottom you...

    Headphones/Loud Environments

Any one have any suggestions for a good pair of headphones that could block out enough heavy machinery so that you can listen to music at a volume that won't help to damage your ears? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. -Stephen- sylvan_gale@yahoo.com (remove underscore)

I love WinME! Share the Love!

If you used WinMe and have a decent system you would see that it does indeed load faster. It does for me and I haven't taken a smidge of standard MS stuf out. For anyone who knows their computers intmately. WinMe should go fine at the "second" installation. Anyone who thinks their...

I have heard that there is a way to remove IE from win ME

You can remove web view from folders by going to folder options. You can also set one folder the way you like it and have it apply to ALL folders.

Win ME or Win 98 ?

Just think of WinMe as Win98 with a little more added features, but the beginning of the end of DOS. I love some of the added features. Not the ones Microsoft touts, but the small ones they don't bother bringing up. You can always use a DOS patch to bring DOS back if needed.
