    Recommendation for DD-WRT compatible router?

I bought a Linksys WRT-150N version 1.0 earlier tonight, and immediately upgraded to the ddwrt firmware without any problems. It was old stock from my local Meijer store. (Meijer is a midwest grocery + retail superstore chain. They don't promote their computer peripherals like Wal-Mart...

    Quick Question

For a while I ran my Xeon 3210 quad core with XP Home, and it recognized all four cores. The main issue is that the power users who demand quad core performance will want to use more than 3GB of RAM, which is all that XP and 32 bit Vista support.

Need some advice: buying a big monitor/small HDTV

I was in a similar situation a few years back and spent over a grand on a Sharp Aquos 26" LCD TV. I haven't regretted it at all. Picture quality on HDTV and DVDs are significantly better than on your budget LCD panels, and computer (through DVI) is good at 1280x768 resolution. Now days you...

    Router and Vista

Actually, Vista has a newly written TCP/IP stack that certain routers can't handle. If your router has Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) enabled, you might be able to ping the outside world but get "404 Page Not Found" from your web browser, or have random disconnects. For some users, disabling...
