192.168x.x = internal IP# right? then how can this be:

Well Damaged, look like I stand corrected :). It doesn't make much sense IMHO, because now you can subnet it like any other class B networkID. Ah well, guess you learn something new every day. Laterz, Dennet aka "Suzie Q".

192.168x.x = internal IP# right? then how can this be:

192.168.0.x is an internal networkID. It's a C-class networkID so the first 3 bytes make up the networkID and the last byte the hostID. So 192.168.3.x is a legit external IP-addy. Laterz, Dennet aka "Suzie Q".

Jumpy DivX -> can anyone help?

Hmmm, some people seem to have some reading disabilities. It's the combination of Dual CPUs, W2K and the SB LIVE!(maybe other soundcards too). There's nothing wrong with the LIVE if you have it running DiVX on a single CPU-system with Win2K. When home users start to build Dual CPU-systems there...

Jumpy DivX -> can anyone help?

Hmmm, my guess is that you have an SB LIVE! as well. I had exactly the same problem on my BP6 with dual celeries 366@550. My guess it's the Creative drivers for the LIVE on a dualmachine. You can make it go away by running DX-diag and put the hardware acceleration in the soundtab two or three...
