I'm trying to help out a neighbor. They have an undated emachine. No sound is the problem. It appears to have a Yamaha Legacy DSI sound card. I can't sem to find the drivers for it anywhere for ME. It seems that running ME doesn't support this card, or Yamaha doesn't have a driver for ME. Any help?

I just completed installing a cable router. I then enabled file and print sharing on my computers ans installed the printers as network printers. All was fine. My sons machine will not load windows now. I get the Blue screen with am OE at VxD NSIS (01). Any clue as to what I did?

I have a HP 4100c USB scanner on my ASUS A7V MB Bios Ver 1007. When attempting to scan the scanner stops responding about from 2% to 30 % through the scanning process. I think it's some sort of usb issue. I went to the HP site, but that was useless. Any suggestions?

AHHH!! Now I understand, and it makes sence. From now on, only DOS flashes. Where can I find an old bios, ver 1005 for the A7V. Any help?

While on the subject of Flashing the bios within windows using the flash utility, why don't you recommend it? Second issue, I flashed my bios last night, but didn't save the old one. Where can I find Bios 1005 for the A7V board. I think it's dayed 01/08/2001. Thanks

The above says it all. I installed the patch off the cd that came with my new A7V board. Now my scanner is a bit whacky. went to control panel it's not there in add or remove programs menu. So now what do I do? Thanks

Ok.. I just moved some stuff around. Everything seems to be fine, but my plextor burner does not show up. HD and DVD show up as Master and and slave on IDE 1.. ZIP shows up as drive "D". Where's the burner?? Thanks.
