    HD not recognised any more

It does not show in Disk Management. Also, I think the SATA cable works fine, because when I unplug the SSD, Windows boots on the secondary hard drive without any problem. Just baffles me !

    HD not recognised any more

Dear all, My secondary HD (Samsung 1TB) is not recognised in Windows 8.1 any more. What is strange is: 1) I can see in it the BIOS; 2) I can boot even from it - it has a bootable partition on it. However, when I boot from my SSD, I can't see it anymore in Windows. It used to work...

SSD in Windows but not in BIOS!

Thanks for your answer. I did check in the boot menu, and it wasn't there! I could only see my HDD, DVDRW, and HP printer! However, when I run windows from my HDD, I can access the ssd completely normally (but it's not the main drive obviously). Basically, it's in Windows, but not in the...

SSD in Windows but not in BIOS!

Hi everyone, I installed a Crucial MX100 (my very first ssd) on my Asus P8P67 last Friday, and it was like being born again, but with tears of joy this time :-) Unfortunately, this morning, after a computer crash (video in Internet Explorer), my computer couldn't reboot on the ssd. It...
