    help ! reboot problem when i o/c a p4 2.0a

No, it is not the Window protection error- cannot init NDIS.vxd. I hit with that problems and it cannot o/c from 2.2 onwards. If he can o/c to 2.5 and is OK, this should not be the problem. I am having a P4 2.0A also. O/c to 2.67 (133 fsb, all auto, vcore 1.525 only :) ), running sandra cpu...

    overclocking P4 2.0A

I am using the retail HSF. The idle temp @2000 is 40C and idle temp @2667 is STILL 40C. Take about 5s to bring down 1C (from 100% cpu to minimum load). Actually thought of changing the thermal pad with AS.....can't seem to get the HSF off, LOL.

    Computer Lockups

80G new hdd ATA ??? 18 old ibm hdd ATA 33?? 66?? If you connect you hdd (master/slave) via a common cable, if your new hdd is ATA 133, the transfer speed will follow the lower one?? I think you can copy all files from you 18G to your 80G and remove the ibm hdd to see if there is anymore problem.

    Are P4 1.8A GHZ O/Cing better like the 1.6A

hmmmm.....i thought there is a certain limit to how high you can o/c your CPU. if you have a 1.6G, if you can o/c 50%, you can get to 2.4G. if you have a 1.8G, if you can o/c 50%, you can get to 2.7G??? the higher you base cpu speed, the higher you can o/c to ??? no?
