I knew that I shouldn't have mentioned my quest for 1TB drives. There are plenty of sellers out there and I've nearly visted them all. :)
But does any price search website offer price charts like this one from AnandTech Labs?

Hey folks. It's been a while.
Is there a website (or than labs.anandtech, which has been acting weird) that offers historical price charts on various PC components? I could've sworm that I've these types of charts, but I never noted the main website behind them.
I'm hoping to pick up...

If you've got the software (ie, SBS 2003), you may want to look at the HP SlimLine. I got an s7712n for home that's served (Sever 2K3, SharePoint Services 3, MySQL 5, PHP 5, IIS 6, etc.) me quite well.

Well, I may not go the online route, but I am seriously considering stopping by BB tonight to get the HP with the Core Solo. I don't mind paying full price today since I'll get the pricematch on Friday. I just won't have to be up at 5AM to get the sub-$400 final price.
Anyway, if someone...
64-bit distros that I'm aware of:
CentOS - http://www.centos.org/ (based on RHEL source)
Debain's is unofficial
Gentoo - is what I use
Kanotix - http://www.kanotix.net/ (based on ?Debian?; no 64-bit update since 2005)
Mandriva - http://www.mandriva.com/en/ (x86 and x86_64 now on same DVD)...
Just a quick note (or two) ...
One of my 500GB drives was "upgraded" in the box to a WD5000YS (the RAID Edition). :)
I just saw a thread over at HardForum that outlined the 30% off coupon. I'm not a regular there, and I closed the browser without capturing the link.

I picked up two of these this morning. I was so giddy when I saw this, I completely forgot about checking coupons/eBates/etc.
I've been eyeing the RAID Edition (WD5000YS) for a few weeks, even though I have no intentions of running RAID at this time. 1-year warranty isn't the worst thing in...
I won a Shuffle a month or two ago and can use that as a flash drive. I'm not sure if that carries over to other iPod models, as the Shuffle caps at 1GB.

I really didn't want to bring this up again, but I was in Indy for the games. Hindsight tells us all that the Gators distanced themselves from the other participants, whereas many thought GMU could have proved that they didn't belong. Props to Florida.
The most competitive half of the...
Are you sure that the FreeBSD partition is totally intact?
In any event, this is an example of why I let MS go ahead and have the boot loader. After all, it's not going to give you any option anyway! You can boot Linux (grub or lilo), FreeBSD, and just about anything else with the...
I first noticed this W0099 unit a few weeks ago. Has anyone thought about the possibility of using one with a Shuttle SFF? I *think* the original PSU in my SN25P had trouble with a 6600GT (and my other components, hehe). For now, I've demoted myself to a 6200TC, but am chomping at the bit to...
So, I've read a little buzz about BootMgr and Vista, given the quest to run XP on the new Intel Macs. For anyone who's missed it, the Intel Macs use EFI, which is the follow-on technology to BIOS that we've known for so long.
Anyhow, Vista completely nixes the NTLDR and C:\boot.ini paradigm...
I only asked about the 64-bit media player because I happened to be looking at my processes and noticed the "wmplayer.exe *32" At that time, I began to wonder what I would need to have all of my apps 64-bit.
For instance, I have the following 32-bit processes running:
NMBgMonitor.exe *32...
