    Looking for WS 22" Monitor

 I thought I had read that it hadn't. Thanks for the info. As for the tearing, I understood you in your first post. That was what I meant with the 100Hz/100fps; 75Hz/75fps. My point was that the LCD forced me to play at 60fps if I wanted no tearing and I "feel" a slight but...

    Looking for WS 22" Monitor

The Nec doesn't have hardware scalling, I think. The BenQ and the Dells were outside of my budget. As for tearing, you're right but, in those games where my card can't put the 100+ fps (almost all of the new releases), I notice the tearing :(:( Finally, the color reproduction issue. I...

    Looking for WS 22" Monitor

Yesterday I returned my brand new Samsung 226BW. It was a fine monitor but the overall feeling is that LCD is (still) not as good as a good CRT (for gaming). The main point in my decision was finding out that I can't live without pixel mapping and aspect ratio scaling. I know, I know, the...

    Returning my Westinghouse 37" LVM-37W3

Same here. Yesterday I returned my brand new Samsung 226BW. It was a fine monitor but the overall feeling is that LCD is (still) not as good as a good CRT (for gaming). The main point in my decision was finding out that I can't live without pixel mapping and aspect ratio scaling. I...

    LCD montitors 1:1 pixel match

I've returned the 226bw. I can't live without pixel mapping and aspect ratio scaling :( I know, I know, the nVidia cards can do that on any monitor. But I won't/can't spend the money on the monitor and on a new card. And then other little things started to annoy me in this monitor. -...

UPDATE: I pull the trigger on the LG 226WT

That's how I feel :( When I got this card I didn't knew about this issue because I only used a CRT. Now that the CRT is dying I got a 226bw, after being told that it had pixel mapping. I returned it after finding that it didn't but I'm still searching for a good LCD that has that feature...

UPDATE: I pull the trigger on the LG 226WT

I know someone said pixel mapping was supported but I'm not sure if it's not the video card that's doing the pixel mapping in his/her case. What I want to know is: Has the 226WT built-in pixel mapping or not? I have an ATI card so I can't use pixel mapping unless the LCD supports it...

    LCD montitors 1:1 pixel match

I've bought a 226BW thinking it had that feature but can't find it :( Does someone know if it has it? If so, how to activate it? I've an ATI X1800XT, so I can't use the driver solution :| Thank you.

    Help Please? Poor oc results with A64 3200 (Clawhammer)+MSI K8 Neo3

Yes, it's a good ideia, but, unfortunately, on my side of the ocean, the 754 can't be found anywhere anymore. Even used it's difficult to find. I've been searching but only found 3200 or lower until now.

    Help Please? Poor oc results with A64 3200 (Clawhammer)+MSI K8 Neo3

No. The motherboard only allows 1,50v for the CPU, maximum. That's why I called it crappy :D. I had a better board (MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum) but I "downgraded" to this one so that I could use the X1800 without having to buy a new CPU. All the other PCI Express boards were 939 only. Well...

    Help Please? Poor oc results with A64 3200 (Clawhammer)+MSI K8 Neo3

I give up. Even with the HT at 2x and the RAM at 100, over 230 it's unstable. I guess is a combination of not too good CPU for oc and crappy motherboard... :( Now, my next step is the X1800XT. Thank you all for your advices :)

    Help Please? Poor oc results with A64 3200 (Clawhammer)+MSI K8 Neo3

not really, the X1800 also gets in the way, along with the USB cables... But to be honest, I didn't try. Maybe it's a bit easier.

    Help Please? Poor oc results with A64 3200 (Clawhammer)+MSI K8 Neo3

I'll try that, myocardia, thanks for the advice. Later I'll post the results. PingSpike, I've already tried to stress the CPU but with a 3x mutiplier and it went to 230, tops. But, if myocardia is right, the voltage was to low. Time to go back to the wonderful world of CMOS reset... it's a...
