Thanks for the reply. can you recommend a budget motherboard that would support the Q9550 cpu?

I have just bougth a Q9550 cpu and installed it on en Asus P5b-plus vista edition motherboard. On computer startup I get an error: Overclocking Failure. I can now hit F1 to enter BIOS or hit F2 to use a default BIOS setting and startup the computer. If I hit either F1 or F2 and afterwords...
