    Unfortunately I have alot of things installed. I just didn't know what system files I truely needed to have running. I looked in the Services and learned alot. Thanks for the info.

    What detremental files should be running in the background on Win 2K system? I have alot running and don't know which are very important files.

    I did the search for history and got nowhere. I cleared the history again and went out and back in and it did the same thing.

    After I clear out my Temporary Internet Files and my history, I can log back in and start typing a url and low and behold there it goes filling in my url again. Where all does IE store the history of your url's and can I clear them?
