Both sets come in dual channel configs. The rev 2's use different IC's which run at slightly lower timings and voltage. You should set the timings to cas 4 trcd 5 trp 4 and tras 15 with the voltage at 2.1V. When you use memset you'll have to figure out the rest of the timings for your system...

OCZ DDR2 PC 5300 wrong RAM for E4300?

The memory will work just fine with the CPU you have, and will give you quite a bit of headroom for overclocking the CPU. Since the CPU has a default FSB of 200Mhz and the memory is designed to run at 333 you'll be able to push things easily as long as the board is up for it

BIOSTAR TForce965PT Works with OCZ Platinum Memory?

How much vdimm can the board put out? Either way I'd go for the rev 2 of the paltinum PC2 6400 http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/m..._6400_platinum_revision_2_dual_channel

What ever became of OCZ Phase change cooler?

AFAIK it's still in the works. It was almost released a few months back, but we wanted to make it better so it went back for another revision. People have been hounding us about it for some time, but I still don't have a release date.

Have you tried clearing your CMOS using the motherboard jumper? Something may be set wrong in the bios and that would clear it up. After you reset the bios you can set the timings and voltage again manually
