Received a set of 4.1 today. It produced a steady hiss without the speakers connected to the computer. Anyone have any idea on how to fix that? I am thinking of returning them. Damn! I need to pay for return shipping.

I only need wireless networking for my laptop. My budget does not allow me to get wireless adapters for my 2 desktops. Can the D-Link 711 satisfy my needs? Do I just connect my existing non-wireless router-switch to the RJ-45 port of the 711?

If you do not get a Lite-On, can you buy one from the Staples store and do a switcharoo? Does the drive has any barcode that ties it to the box?

If this mobo is based on the 810LR chipset, then be careful. I built a system with the 810lr chipset three days ago. Tried to install W98 twice and Win ME once. I could not complete the installation. It would freeze in the middle of the installation. Very unstable in my opinion.

What power supplies did you guys use with this board? I used a Enermax 350W. Drives and fans spinned but no video signal.
