Power Ranger, just go to start menu and search for fast. Then click off on the samsung fast start. Now you change the power settingd

Hi The solution to this is to disable a peice of samsung software. Go to start and in search programs and files type Fast This will open samsumg fast start. Press off Apply then ok. Now you will be able to go into wi dows power settings and change what the lid does.
