actually SD interface allows multiple cards on same wires, but afaik no software outside embedded world supports it.

what i always do since XP is, first TEMP FAT32 partition (now 10GB), then OS+tools partition (now 40GB ntfs), then rest is data+ big apps (games, photoshop,...) or put 60GB SSD in there, keep only one drive letter (yay for no fragmentation issues) and keep all static data on small network drive...

ok, i see, will try to reinstall that in the AHCI mode. Hope it will work and not make my pc brick. it would e sad if i had to buy a new HDD because i cannot give that mine to somebody else.

i would prefer not to make the switch to AHCI, but the guy over at our PC shop is telling me that in that IDE mode Trimming is not working and my SSD will slow down in few days and then die overused.
