the Hardforum database shows much better OC results on the 6300, followed by the 6600, and then the 6400.

the reason for the crucial was price...almost $100 cheaper than the G Skill. The cooler seems to be the top choice over at Hardorums, so I dont know. The PSU is a reuse from my old pc...if I end up needing more juice, I will buy one.
