Zone Alarm will hide your system from the outside. I tested it twice on a site that will hack your system to find security weaknesses. Both times they couldn't even find my computer, and that's with the sight KNOWING what my IP address is.
I happen to have a personal fondness for the name Zippy. Actually that was my nickname in high school. Yup... peeps who didn't even know my name called me Zippy or Zip. Took me three years of college to get rid of that nickname :-)
Oh yeah. I had plenty of time to research the name in my day...
Go for the ignore tactic. Just do your thing like it doesn't matter whether or not the cat likes you. The laser pointer idea works well too. The trick is to pace your interaction with the cat. It might hiss now, but in time that little demon will start getting used to you. Oh yeah... NEVER give...
I be a Rooster.
I go to a chinese restraunt close by and they had the place mats with the Chinese Zodiac on them. The place mat wasn't so king to call my Zodiac the Rooster. Instead it said Cock. My girfriend at the time would tease me for days because of that one visit.
Funny how I don't...
One word: Junkyard. Some of them let you walk right in with your tools and pull what you need. Also I know some junkyards pulls these parts and put them in inventory. Might need a little paint but odds are you will find what you're looking for if you look long enough.

That's strange. I haven't had any problems burning the few games I have done. I used the Adaptec CD Copier delux and stick with the default settings as far as buffer is concerned. I have no idea if that makes a difference or not.
If you aren't planning on doing any overclocking then that should be sufficient. I would probably look into some extra cooling methods to be sure like thermal compound and a dual fan/heatsink combo.
Better find out realistically how much bandwidth you will actually get. Odd are you will NOT get 1.5Mbps at that distance. I would also do some research on the ISP that's offering the service. True the distance you are from the CO decides the limit on your bandwidth, but the ISP is the one...
I have a question that's been bugging me for ages. I am told that Win9x can't really utilize onboard memory much more than 128MB. Is this true? Reason why I am asking is I have a 770Mhz Athlon (lazy man's overclock) and 128MB of PC133 SDRAM on a Windows 98 (not SE) system. Would there be any...
