is there any noticeable performance difference between 23.xx drivers and other detanators?

I have Asus 7100/T, and tried detanator 23.11 drivers but it doesn't work. I don't know what the problem is , everything go well after system starts even up to windows start sound, there is just a blank screen but it doesn't hang on? So what should i do, continue using asus's 12.60 drivers?

Hi guys, I downloaded a program can edit vide bios. Is it a good way to change the default clock speeds to a proper over clocked speed? Is it possible to improve performans by editing video bios? any idea.. thanks semih
