So after your suggestions I ordered the 550w version. I think that in the future power consumption will drop as we can see from Maxwell architecture. One question though,if I were to get a 780ti would this PSU be OK?
I thought of going for that but I wanna buy something that will be future proof and sustain power hungry components that I might buy in the future. Isn't the performance gap between the two worth it?
I will be buying from a local store and I can't really find the one you are recommending. And my budget can't go above 80-85 Euros. http://www.skroutz.gr/c/30/psu-trofodotika.html
Hello ,i will be changing my power supply that i have had for 3 years and i've been looking at many options i have. I ended up to the XFX ProSeries 650w core edition full wired for 80 euros(+shipping).

My current specs are...
Yeah..well it happened before too and i rma'd it again. I thought it was a software problem too so i re-installed windows and it was exactly the same so i returned it to the store and they found the problem and gave me a new one which is the one that has the same problem.
My 7950 died on me after closing down bf4 computer shut down and it never worked again with drivers. (without drivers it does work)
Which one should i get with the money i get from the rma?
This is the shop i bought it from and there are not that many choices but there are some good ones i...
It is the Dual-X model and i have it overclocked to 1170/1550 with 1.25v.
I have a pretty bad case to be honest..it's the enermax chakra. Here's a photo of my pc.
EDIT: Will actually consider this one too http://www.e-shop.gr/product?id=PER.806905
Linus reviewed it and it seems good to be honest.
I was leaning towards the Zalman one cause it already includes 4 fans and it has temperature indicator and a fan controller but i mostly care about the airflow each one provides. Are those 2 better at that part or basically same thing cause i will be basically saving money with those 4 fans.
I currently have an Enermax Chakra which is a good case but the airflow it provides is really really bad so my components heat up pretty quickly like my 7950 which reaches 80c when gaming.
I have 2 fans in it,one intake that came with it and a coolermaster sickleflow exhaust.(Really a small...
I have been getting pretty bad fps in games like borderlands 2,hitman absolution and battlefield 4(can't keep 60 fps on high) and some lag spikes on payday 2 and cs:go so i wanted to know if there is any problem with my pc or with the games.
Here is the benchmark...
Hello guys :). So i cleared up the case, put in the new 7950 i got from rma and i get this noise whenever i play a game or run a benchmark. What could it be?
i5 3570k
Sapphire HD7950 Dual-X
8gb ram ddr3
Asrock z77 extreme4
windows 7 64 bit
Litepower 700w Thermaltake...
If it was psu it shouldn't work without drivers though as they draw the same power with drivers which leads me to a gpu problem.(or so i think) But well i don't know what exactly is the problem. Will come back tomorrow when i get some more information about it and reply back =).
