    Official AT Guild Wars 2 Guild Thread

    I haven't been on AT in so long, didn't realize there was an official guild. I'm on Borlis Pass in [BURN], we're a few tiers lower than you guys but with the randomization for WvW coming soon maybe we'll see each other in the borderlands :)

    Has anyone ever tried two quad-core E5345 in an IBM 9228?

    To be sure I don't expect IBM ever meant for this to work. I'm using the latest version of the BIOS, 1.45, which was released at or before the quad-core E5 series was. Luckily the Intel chipset used works fine on it (other suppliers support this), so even though the BIOS whines a bit, it boots...

    Has anyone ever tried two quad-core E5345 in an IBM 9228?

    To answer my own question (and provide someone else the ability to find this in the future), yes it does work. I didn't get E5345 chips because they were scarce enough to be slightly more expensive than I wanted to go, but two E5335 (2.0ghz) were roughly $50 shipped from ebay and work...

    Has anyone ever tried two quad-core E5345 in an IBM 9228?

    Got an older 9228 that I'm going to move my ESXI server over to, want to change it up from a dual core Xeon to two quad-core. Need to source out the VRM and the CPUs, I'm looking at the E5345 right now. I see confirmation on the faster X5365 chips working, so I see no reason why the slower...

    ASP/vbscript file download issue with Firefox (Fixed myself, resolution inside)

    Fixed my own issue, or rather came up with a bit of a roundabout way of doing it instead. I use the ASPUpload comp, but prior to using it I make a copy of the file without spaces (underscores instead), then download that to the user, and then delete it. Works well actually, and the files are...

    ASP/vbscript file download issue with Firefox (Fixed myself, resolution inside)

    I have a script that allows me to serve up files from a local drive via a web interface, without having to share the folder to IIS directly (as in not just making them links). The issue I've run into is that many of these files have spaces in the names, which with Firefox causes the name to...

    SQL View Issue

    I actually came up with that on Friday, but I found that it only finds the "closed" entries if a corresponding "opened" entry exists. As in, if the date isn't found in the first query, then it isn't going to be listed in the second. As I don't get paid enough to mess around with this stuff...

    SQL View Issue

    I'm trying to create a report showing a break down of sums, specific to dates. The problem is that it's basically two different SELECTS, as the first is based on the date the item was created (then sums based on cases), the second is based on the date closed. Trying to combine them directly...

    javascript window.open() help needed

    Thank you for answering. I did try that, and in Chrome/IE8 it works fine, but FF doesn't quite like it. Remember that the link is in a new window, not just another frame. It's basically search results that pop-up, but when you click something in it I want it to load in the original window (in...

    javascript window.open() help needed

    I have a site that has a frameset, and several frames. One of these frames hosts a search field that currently does a _blank for a target for the results page. What I'd like is to click something in that search page, and have the page it opens target a frame in the original (opener) window...

    Some questions about SQL

    Our DBA knows absolutely nothing about .NET or any kind of programming language, he's strictly T-SQL/SQL. He's also paid as much or more than most of the developers, as he's taken processes that used to run for hours before down to just minutes, and our entire business is built on timing...
