I also purchased a microcenter bundle 4790k and gigabyte gaming 3. I didn't oc and temps are ~34 idle and ~60 while spectating a game in cs:go after a few minutes. Using a 212 evo for the cpu. The temps if considered high, would be due to a poor choice of intake fans (corsair af140) on my case...

Saw this on xbitlabs. Link its rather strange they would offer the same chip in a lower wattage for the same price. Time will tell.

Any thoughts on the 3 new fx 8 chips? Perhaps one of them will be similar to 8320/50 with 95w? Similar lower/higher clockspeeds? Sounds like progress even if its not much.
