My friend asked me to help him select parts for his new desktop because his lap top died on him. Basically, he has a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers. All he needs is a tower with the components inside the tower. He doesn't plan on Overclocking and he isn't planning on doing any heavy...
No, he'll be using his old keyboard, monitor, etc. The only required pieces are the ones I listed. If he decides to go with AM2 then he'll need to buy new ram, but I don't think he's willing to try it out due to the fact that AM2 is too new and not stable. Thanks!
My friend just asked me to comment on his build. I told him what he needed to hear, but I would also like to hear other people's opinion on the build. Here it goes:
DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D Socket 939 motherboard- $99.99
eVGA 7900GT 256MB GDDR3 Video Card Model#256-P2-N583-AR- $279.99...
Hi, my friend is planning to buy this computer on ebay, but I told him to wait because with that money, he can customize his own computer by buying the parts individually. Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Sony-Vaio-RB-VG...07QQcategoryZ52476QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
This was my build...
Think the corsairs I listed above is compatiable with the dell? On corsair's website, it doesn't list anything about being compatiable with the dell. Thanks!
I have a dell dimension 4700. Currently, I'm running 2X256 ddr2. I was thining about adding 1 more gig of ram into the system. Is it recommended to put 2X512 or should I just grab a 1X1 gig stick? I'm debating between these:
1 gig stick...
Lucky me, my connect3d x800gto unlocked successfully to 16pipes. :) I bought it the day after Black Friday from Newegg and I was afraid that my card was locked at 12 pipes. I haven't done much overclocking yet but I did try 3dmark05 at stock speeds with 16 pipes at 400/980 Mhz and got 4900...
I'm hoping that this new Bios rev. isn't true because I just ordered one from newegg 2 days ago. I should be receiving my connect3d x800gto pci-e from newegg this thursday or friday. I'm hoping mine unlocks and will oc well. Let's hope for the best that this review isn't true and is made up! :)
Just to let you guys know, the target retail chain does not sell laptops. The online store carries many items that the retail stores don't. Just to clearify a few things here. I'm only a part time worker at target. It's more like pocket change to buy my books at school.
I can't seem to unzip this file. It keeps saying "Either multipart or corrupt ZIP archive." I've downloaded this file from fileplanet three times already and it has said the same each time. The file size I have for WoW file is 2.81gb. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!
