Well I am lost since nothing seems to fix it and think it may be a hardware issue ! but I donot know how to check for their performance.

Also I am wondering if BAD hardware could cause this I.E. Memory going bad, harddrive going bad.... is there a way to check these as well ?

I saw those and deleted them, or I thought I did, I ran ad aware and then uninstalled them is threre more that needs to be done ?

Some of this software has been uninstalled but still in the start up list.

Yea I defragged scanned for viruses and spy ware nothing as far as that goes.

I have a 9500 pro and will be buying DOOM 3, I am wondering if Ill get good performance from my card for this game I will be looking at new cards but not in the near future and I want to make sure Im not buying doom just to get pissed off.

YI have used add/remove BUT it doesnt completely remove everything off the pc leaves a few folders and many registry entries.

I installed this on ym pc and I get a program not responding error when it tries to update, I never like mcafee but since this was free to me I said what the heck. I now want to completely remove it any ides how ?

heres the set up athlon xp 2500 barton asus a7n8x kinston ddr-sdram pc 2700 1 gig worth .. running dual channel. heres my question with this ram installed it says its running at 166 MHZ, being that its 2700 and that runs at 333 should it be running at that speed ? or am I missing something here ?
