thanks for the responses. ya, it doesnt seem to ever be more than like 4-5C from each other, and that's only for a quick moment. idle or load they are within 1-3C of each other.

Hello. I currently have 2x512MB Geil Golden Dragon PC3500 modules in my system now. I also have an additional 2x512 Samsung PC2700 modules, and I'm wondering if I can add those, or do all 4 memory modules have to be the same? My MB is a Abit IS7-E Socket 478. Much Thanks.

what's the best way to tell what the different types of memory use?

Wicktron, thanks for the response. Those are the only types of memory that will work with a Abit IS7? If so, that's pretty depressing and I wish I hadn't ordered this board since it seems to be impossible to tell if what memory is based on Winbond CH-5 IC's or Winbond BH-5 IC's.
