I have an asus Rampage III Formula with an i7 950...about a year old now, was going to upgrade to an SSD, but i'm worried about all the negative things i've read on the marvell sata 3 controller, which is on my board. Getting an expensive Sata 3 SSD and using it on a board with crap Sata 3...
Would you drop 500-600 dollars on a video card now or go with something like a 7900GT and wait until Vista and the DX10 cards arrive to spend that much?
