There are known issues with the K7TPro2-a multiplier adjustment. The write-up was on overclockers.com not too long ago but the link seems to have disappeared from the front page.

I will chime in :) I have a P3-700 and V3 3000 and DVD playback is quite nice using WinDVD... I've tried WinDVD and PowerDVD and to my eyes WinDVD has much nicer image quality and smoother playback on my system.

Just checked the Rambus prices on PriceWatch. Samsung RDRAM 128MB ECC PC-800MHz $186 Wow, not bad. If the technology is properly implemented, and prices drop a wee bit more, I would have no problems buying Rambus for my systems :)
