I really thought that only HP parts would work lol
It is my first foray into server class hardware, so many doubts I had. I will talk with the people responsible for the server to make the upgrades and search for the parts asap. Thank you so much for the help!.
Sorry for the late reply. At least for the time being, I think they will only pay for an upgrade, not a whole new server. So, I was thinking of buying hard drives (magnetic and SSD) from other brand (not HP that is the present server) because they are far cheaper than the original ones.
Now the...
Thanks, I've tried Bluejeans, but it still uses flash for the video part. One friend told me about Jitsi Meet. I've tried their test server and I did not find any trace of flash elements. If someone is searching for something like these, hope it helps.
I am searching for a video conference software to install on our institution server. We are testing OpenMeetings, but it still uses Flash for the video and audio part. I want a full HTML5 compliant solution, via WebRTC I think it is done, and for running it on a Linux based webserver. I searched...

Yeah, I had the same feeling. But less than two years is so short lifespan, is normal this kind of things?. I always had Seagate drives, until one of them started having clicking noises, so I thought changing to Western Digital would be better, but all my Seagate's had a lifespan of at least...
I asked WD support for this. I will wipe if they approve that the RMA or the replacement process won't change because of that.

Another question, I want to securely erase my drive before sending them to WD. It is safe to do it after I requested the RMA and before sending the unit to them?. Because it can be damaged more, that's why I ask.

I already sent an inquiry to them about what happened to my drive and they told me to create the rma ticket and send it to the nearest facility (Brazil) for a replacement :D

I cant access Windows because of the faulty drive, how can I run the tool without Windows?, is there a preOS version of the tool, or a LiveCD of it?. Thanks.
