I know this thread is old, but just to answer lopri's original question, I read somewhere not too long ago that the Nvidia stated the maximum safe operating temperature for the nforce4 being 70C. Can't find the link just now, though...

I have the Deluxe version and as far as I know, it's just the standard 32-bit 33MHz PCI slots housed on the board. The only difference in slots between the Premium and Deluxe is the Premium has a PCIe x4 slot while the Deluxe has 2 x1's. Hope this helps you out.

Sorry to hear that none of those fixes apply to you. I'll keep my eyes open for any possible solutions. In the meantime, the only other thing I could recommend trying is to set up a separate hardware profile for benchmarking/gaming, with only chipset/raid/lan/sound/video drivers and hardware...

Robidoo: I was having a similar problem, although mine came along with eventual crashes after awhile. Sometimes it would be an hour, sometimes 15 minutes. I also was having the issue with NVraidservice.exe crashing at startup, and I was getting the "Error loading operating system" error...

Hey all, anybody try or know anyone who has tried using the OCZ DDR Booster with the Asus A8N-SLi Deluxe? I have this motherboard on the way, and wondered if it would work. I checked the OCZ website and it looks like the motherboard is too new to be on the list... Anyone??
