    computerbaseDirt Rally Benchmark

So what's your plan? What's your constructive criticism? Constructive criticism Nvidia: I would like to see the game work features more open, like they did with CPU physx, to improve adoption. Constructive criticism Amd: I would like to see them innovate more and improve the...

They offer sweet features in a unideal multi-platform world. They may not be the sweetest or ideal, but some don't allow idealism to be the enemy of good.

[GamersNexus] Asetek Demands AMD Cease Sales of Fury X on Infringement Claims

I surely didn't make the decision to outsource a third party cooler and sell it as innovation, vocal advocates and AMD did.

[GamersNexus] Asetek Demands AMD Cease Sales of Fury X on Infringement Claims

[Ars] Should we be required to create an account to get drivers?

I realize this may be semantics, but the market already tolerates it by paying more for the Nvidia brand name which is a combination of hardware and software, the Nvidia ecosystem. The investments in software have helped their overall margins.

[Ars] Should we be required to create an account to get drivers?

One may have to offer some serious, compelling reasons to charge even more for drivers and abilities than there is. Gamers are already paying more of a premium now, over-all, for the nVidia ecosystem and nVidia is enjoying record revenue.

[Ars] Should we be required to create an account to get drivers?

Ease of use, defined as making it easier to improve the experience for their customers. Value, defined as to continue to innovate and offer features that improve the experience. If Nvidia continues to build upon these two facets, people may not mind giving up an email address to have the...

[Ars] Should we be required to create an account to get drivers?

Pretty simple -- ease of use and value.
