www.bootdisk.com has instructionson maknig a w98 boot CD, that will let you access MS DOS Prompt, if you aren't running NTFS, there are also boot CDs for XP/2k and others.

your penchant :P I had XP 1800+ w/ GeForce 3 Ti200 overclocked to Ti500 speeds, running those games fine.. highest detail on C&C Generals and UT2003. and Unreal 2 had medium shadow levels

I had to flash the bios on mine to do it.. Warranty Void apparently when you do it.

I have the same card, clock setting set to 330.75/315 and it seems to run fine.

I have an AMD K6-2 400 Mhz and a AMD Athlon 2400+ in my room on 24/7... this combination works great in the winter :)

I just updated with that bios. I fixed the line problem at POST. It seemed after a few reboots it went away (same with the wrong bios). But uninstalled the drivers and computer still thinks I have a 9700 Pro. That shouldn't cause a problem should it? My computer seems to run games and...

I fixed the problem with 3DMark, I just reinstalled it. I checked my memory is it is Infineon memory at 3.3 I'll try one of those.
