Aha, good recommendation! I tried another vid card, and I can get the post information now! Whew! However, I can't use my quadro card. How would one go about getting the MB to recognize the Quadro? Thanks, J

NOPE, not the answer! WHat his problem most likely is......BIOS! Yes, for some very stupid reason, ASUS decided to ship product with a BIOS that did not support 1333 FSB. WOW how nice is that! Your choice is to RMA back to ASUS, or get an older processor, and flash the BIOS yourself.

Now what I am seeing is, 1) the HDD seeks 2) the MB green light is on. 3) The Vid card (Quadra 3400) green light is on 4) re-seated the Processer (get hot quick) ! 5) All fans work 6) My case (Antec P182) does not have a speaker, but there is a buzzer on the MB. It never beeps or buzzes...

Sorry to hi-jack this thread, however I have the same symptoms of the OP. No beep, no video, no post. New install of a P5K /6750. The HD lights light up, the green light on the MB is lit, the fans run, the 2X2 power is plugged in, vid power is connected, and vid card green light is lit. Just...

I was told, by an unreliable source, that a lot of P35 machines have trouble with 4 sticks of 1 meg., and not with two sticks of 2 meg. ..... go figure. He also said, I'd be better off with PC5300 low latentcy than Pc6400 high latency. Someone shed some light on this, please!
