Tom's Hardware only crapped on the 172x because they got the 16ms one. However, Samsung has upgraded it to 12ms response time and new reviews are out for that one. Just do a google search for Samsung 172x. There isn't that much reviews because its still "quiet" and not much talk about it. But...

You see nothing on the screen? Could be something wrong with your video card also. Try using a different video card and see if you see anything on the screen. And also try Jayczar's suggestion.. try using a different memory stick and see if it fixed the problem. If worst comes to worst...

Here is some advice, some are obvious and you may have already tried them: 1. Did you try holding the power button? 2. Remove the connector from the motherboard and flip it to the other side then plug it back in. (ie. reverse it) Sometimes when i connect those things I put them the wrong way...

how can i tell if a subwoofer will work with these NSP-1 speakers? i've been looking at these subwoofers: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3061398647&category=3275 Are these compatible with them?

The Logitech Z-680's are 400$ (cdn), these JRL NSP-1 Set is 300$ (cdn). Should i just put up the 100$ extra to get the 680's? But then i have the problem again of having 2 Receivers... if i just get those NSp-1 speakers i wont have a problem of 2 Receivers... any insight? What should my...

Have you tried using a different copy of Windows XP? Could the something wrong with the disc... If you bought it you can still use the cd key you bought just try a different physical cd...

But if i just get 2 speakers i wont get 5 channels right?

HEH.. so at least does it support Dolby and DTS? And is the Bass good enough compared to like my z-540's logitech speakers?
