OK to say "Use Bing Cashback for an additional $$ off!" for eBay items?

I've seen some eBay listings over the past year that mention something like "Use Bing Cashback for an additional $$/%% savings!", either in the listing (often with instructions or a link to instructions), or in the subtitle. Would doing that (especially in the subtitle) violate any rules...

macbook air rev. b - replacing SSD?

Good info, thanks! Can you please link or describe what kind of soldering is needed to "convert" a MicroSATA drive to a LIF drive? What I had in mind was an 80Gb Intel X18-M, which is 5mm thick and should therefore be OK. Not sure how comfortable I'd be with soldering it, but I might be willing...

macbook air rev. b - replacing SSD?

Can anyone point me to some reliable info about what SSD's/HDD's can fit in the current generation of Macbook Air? I know that they use SATA, rather than the original MBA's PATA/ZIF connector. I would think that this is common knowledge, but I can't find any more reliable info than a random...

Cheapest way to ship a video card from Atlanta to Mexico City?

I think that USPS is probably a lot cheaper, but I'm not sure how reliable Mexico's customs and post offices are... I imagine they wouldn't be awful for Mexico City, at least. Just make sure to pack it well, whichever way you choose to ship. Definitely put the retail package into another box...

Looking for a full ATX case. Please help!!

I think that there might be a couple of high-end Lian Li models that might fit the bill.... but anything by Antec will be a much better value, I imagine, unless you can find a good deal on the Lian Lis.

    aftermarket cooler ideas for HD4870X2

I'm sure there have been posts asking about aftermarket coolers for HD4870X2, but since I'm almost positive that there have been no developments on that front, let's go with another route... Has anyone tried, or does anyone want to try, or does anyone have any ideas for how to run a much...

Need help deciding on a motherboard

IMO, P35 boards seem to be way more recommended for stability and reliability, if you're not looking for SLI and whatnot.

Newbie Help: Ultimate Gaming Rig Buildup

Unless you REALLY want to waste some money, I say spring for the Q9450 and do some minor overclocking.... very, very minor overclocking, and you'll get the same performance as the Extreme Edition for something like a quarter of the money. High-end DDR3 is currently much more expensive and only...

AnnoyedGrunt, for your WoW issue: Go to worldofwarcraft.com and in the Support category on the left (or something like that), there's Tools. Click on that link and find the repair utility.

Long delay between posts, but as soon as I posted last time, I tried just running memtest on one stick of RAM at a time and there ya have it :P Gadgetbuilder was right all along :) (props and cookies to GadgetBuilder)! One of the sticks was bad.

OK, now I honestly have no clue what to do. First of all, I tried taking out one RAM module at a time to see if I can stop the error messages when loading Knoppix. That accomplished nothing. Then, I tried moving the IDE cable for the DVD drives (they share one) to the second IDE slot. Not...

Xeno, you should check that the video card is getting power, first of all. Secondly, I know that when I didn't have the power for the video card plugged in, everything turned on, but there was a message saying that the power to the video card must be plugged in... it could be the motherboard's...

Thanks for the info on updating BIOS! GadgetBuilder - temps are good (about 30). I haven't tried Memtest86 yet, but this doesn't seem to be a RAM problem, if that's what you're thinking, though I might try it later today. I've reset the BIOS a couple times, but considering I only tried...
