    4-pin +12V or 8-pin EPS12V Connector?

Building my new rig and need a little help. I have a Corsair 520 PSU. In addition to the 24-pin main power connector it has a 4-pin 12V and an EPS12V connector. My MSI P6N SLI Platinum has an 8-pin socket with a removable plastic plug over 4 pins. This is identified in the manual as a 12V...

The Unofficial ASUS P5N-E SLI 650i Board Thread

Hi all, my last post must have got lost in the shuffle. Any Zalman 9700 users here? Could someone take a look in their case and see if their heatsink extends over the top of the mobo? I want to check clearances for the new build I am planning. Thanks in advance.

Hey ColossusX, did you solve your problem? What was your solution? I also want to put a 9700 onto a P5N-e. Does that heat sink extend above the top edge of your motherboard? Cheers.

    Computer Freezing Up

Thanks Harvey, I run Ad-aware and Spybot at least once a week. I Googled most of the currently running processes, and could find no indication that any are malicious. I also tried Kaspersky's free on-line scan, it also came up negative. I will try the Avast one next. I do find it odd that...

    Computer Freezing Up

Went through all my Norton settings, everything seems normal. I am not even sure Norton is the culprit. I have every intention of uninstalling Norton when my subscription expires.

    Computer Freezing Up

This is my problem. I am running Windows XP SP2, and when I leave the computer unattended I usually return to find the device manager showing 100% CPU usage. This requires a reboot to remedy. The process that is eating up the CPU varies, but is usually related to my Norton Antivirus...
