Question XMP issues on Aorus Z390 Pro

The Patriot kit is for sure, and while the G Skill TridentZ Neo kit is newer than Gigabyte's list, I've seen several people on other forums have success with it on Aorus Z390/Z490 boards. I think I'll try the Patriot kit on my Z390 with XMP disabled and manually setting the timings. I've had it...

Question XMP issues on Aorus Z390 Pro

I have a 9900k + Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Pro (bios f12L) and memtest is giving errors in test 6 for 2 different pairs of memory I have at XMP settings. (32gb 2x16 Patriot 3200 CL16 and 2x16 G Skill Trident 3600 CL16) Currently running the G Skill at 3400 CL16 without any errors. The patriot memory...

    dropping frames with 1 144hz and 1 60hz monitor

I've been having issues with this for quite some time and while I've found people with similar problems, I've never found a good answer. My issue is this: I have a 144hz and a 60hz monitor, and I'm unable to run things in borderless windowed without having stuttering/dropped frames. Disabling...

Full Hardware acceleration on GF6800 = jumpy mouse cursor

Set AGP aperture to 64mb. no effect. Just found and tried the PS2 adapter, and it actually seems worse. It does it even without full hardware acceleration enabled. PSU is a Thermaltake 420W. MBM reads all voltages as being good. I never did any tweaking on my 9700, so no. I never had...

Full Hardware acceleration on GF6800 = jumpy mouse cursor

It wasn't any better or worse @ 128mb, and the USB port that the mouse is on isn't on the same IRQ. I did notice some stuttering in the dxdiag bouncing box test the first run through.

Full Hardware acceleration on GF6800 = jumpy mouse cursor

It's just a microsoft intellimouse explorer. (the white one with grey buttons on the side) It doesn't have any drivers. I believe my AGP aperture is 256.

Full Hardware acceleration on GF6800 = jumpy mouse cursor

Since getting this 6800, I've had the problem of the mouse cursor not being smooth, or rather you'll see it "blip" in front of and behind itself when moving across the screen. This only happens when Hardware acceleration is fully enabled. Taking it down one notch seems to fix this, however it...
