I put one of these in an older socket A system Athlon XP 2400+ with only 768mb RAM and it was very impressive what that system could do. It probably means skipping a lot more lunches than you want to go without. Still this thing is a great card.

The availability of the 7800 chipsets are limited in PCI-e. On newegg they have some Recertified Video Cards The price is right but they come with limited warranty and seems that EVGA is very loose on the term "recertified" reading some of the commentsmade in the reviews....
