yeah i saw that topic before......and yes the 6800 is hooked up. But shouldn't my motherboard at least light up when its plugged into the psu even though no videocards/hard drives are connected? It doesnt even do that....just a constant high pitched whine (its a bit faint but u can hear it...

the high pitched noise is a constant whine. My friend built a similar system and his was fine so im guessing the psu is enough.

Recently i've been hearing a ton of clicking noises from my laptop hard drive accompanied by extreme periods of lag while browsing thru the C: drive contents in windows explorer and i have assumed that my hard drive is dying :( Well im planning on buying a new hard drive from newegg to replace...

my friend had the same problem, u need to install a windows update i think and it will enable the ethernet. But ur gona need a spare lan card to actually get online =D
