    Timer-charger may not fully charge your 2000mah, most time you have to charge twice to get full.

    That is why it's important to get a smart charger. I have been using a smart charger for about 1 years now and still have those AA and AAA batteries. Batteries sometimes get pretty hot, but no damage even after 100 cycles.
